Pioneer Valley Connect Preferred Provider
"Pioneer Valley Connect Preferred Provider" was a designation given by the Pioneer Valley Connect Steering Committee to a telecommunications service provider who received its endorsement. The Preferred Provider needed to meet specific criteria established by the Steering Committee that reflected the goals of Pioneer Valley Connect. Elements of these criteria included: local infrastructure investment, network reliability and redundancy, and affordable high quality telecommunications services.

Pioneer Valley Connect was proud to endorse Crocker Communications as a Preferred Provider for telecommunications services in the Pioneer Valley Connect region. Crocker Communications was awarded this status through an extensive Request for Proposals (RFP) process conducted in 2004.
Crocker Communications provided telecommunications services that ranged from dial-up to T3 internet and data transfer services, to call center, call answering, and collocation services at their Springfield facility. Crocker Communications and Pioneer Valley Connect shared the common goals of increasing affordability, reliability, and expanded telecommunications infrastructure in the region. Crocker Communications' commitment to the Pioneer Valley region led them to successfully expand their product offering and strengthened their network through continuing re-investment.
